A graduate of the first cycle has the ability to create elements of landscape architecture according to the functional, psychological and biological needs of the man. He/she is also prepared to perform stock-taking of the elements of landscape architecture; to assess the condition of plants in objects of landscape architecture; to design the management of elements of landscape architecture including historic ones; to construct and take care of elements of landscape architecture; to manage and supervise works related to creation and maintenance of elements of landscape architecture, as well as to cooperate with other specialists participating in the design, construction and maintenance of elements of landscape architecture. Our graduates are prepared to work in units preparing projects related to the management of elements of landscape architecture; units realising and taking care of landscape architecture; local and national administration units.
A graduate of the second cycle has the ability to conduct research and design studies as well as to supervise realisation of activities related to the management of landscape on regional scale including national parks, landscape parks and other legally protected areas; landscape management on local scale including protection and revitalisation of historical urban and rural arrangements, creation of town and open landscape, including landscape surrounding engineering constructions. The graduates are prepared to work in units preparing the designs of management of landscape architecture; local and national government; units preparing strategies, studies and projects of land, town and rural management; authorities of national and landscape parks; research and development institutions; extension services and other institutions providing help and education in the field of landscape protection and management.
