Veterinary medicine is a wide field – there are over a million species of animals that exist today, and there are many environments in which they live and diseases they suffer from. The number of student science clubs at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine reflects the breadth of this field, because at a faculty with only one field of study, there are eight science clubs.

For the second time we have awarded diplomas and medals to the best beers taking part in the Good Beer Academy competition. Jury was headed by Rafał Kowalczyk, an international judge who emphasized a high standard of the competition where over 80 beers were evaluated.

The history of the faculty started in post-war Wrocław when, in December 1945, the Department of Reclamation and Agricultural Engineering was created at the Faculty of Agriculture with the Section of Horticulture within the University and Polytechnic the only higher education institution in Wrocław. The program developed by the European Commission to coordinate and support the digital transformation of economies aims to increase the level of digitalization in the EU, thereby increasing the competitive advantage of companies and improving the functioning of public administration.
