Marta Konikiewicz, a doctoral student at the Department of Systematics and Ecology of Invertebrates, have become a laureate of Ludwik Hirszfeld scholarship for outstanding achievements in the area of biological and medical sciences of the Student Scholarship Program.

Maksymilian Lewicki, a fifth-year student of veterinary medicine at the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław, has qualified for the Fulbright TopMinds program. For several editions, prof. Agnieszka Noszczyk-Nowak, a cardiologist from the Department of Internal Medicine and Clinic of Diseases of Horses, Dogs and Cats has been the mentor in the program.

The Doctoral School of the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences is closely connected with Leading Research Groups, which leaders and members are supervisors of doctoral theses written at the school, and together with a doctoral students’ representative form the Doctoral School Council. Two years after its formation, the Doctoral School and its doctoral students are undergoing evaluation.
