Dozens of parks, squares, and local green spaces connected by green corridors, as well as numerous solutions related to green and blue infrastructure, which enhance the resilience of urban areas to climate change, are among the outcomes of the Polish-Norwegian project involving researchers from UPWr.

Production of enterotoxins by Staphylococcus aureus was identified as a factor of Staphylococcal Food Poisoning (SFP). Dairy products have been associated with SFP. Karolina Sobieraj, a doctoral student at the UPWr Doctoral School and a member of the Waste and Biomass Valorisation Group (WBVG) Lead Research Group, is carrying out research at the Department of Applied Bioeconomy in the discipline of Environmental Engineering, Mining and Energy. However, she does not feel that she ended up at the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences by chance.
