Having achieved her first scientific successes as a student, today she works at the Department of Experimental Biology at the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław, where she is a member of a Lead Research Team.

For the second time we have awarded diplomas and medals to the best beers taking part in the Good Beer Academy competition. Jury was headed by Rafał Kowalczyk, an international judge who emphasized a high standard of the competition where over 80 beers were evaluated.

Scientists from the UPWr Institute of Geodesy and Geoinformatics carried out precise measurements of the Tatra Mountain peaks. As a result, many atlases and textbooks will have to be revised. Świnica turned out to be one meter higher, the Skrajny Granat on Orla Perć by three meters, and the border post in Rysy stands at 2500 m above sea level.

This year, for the first time ever, the scholarship program "Implementation Master’s at UPWr" was launched. Students were granted scholarships for 3D printed prosthetics, and innovative bee farms, among others.

So in celebration of him, Prof. Krzysztof Sośnica talks about the significance of the Copernican breakthrough, the search for beauty in science, space missions and the participation of UPWr scientists in the construction of a base on the Moon.

Arek Kaznowski won the first place in the dressage contest in the International Equestrian Competition for Veterinary Students in Edinburgh. The event was organized by the Royal School of Veterinary Studies.
