Opus 19 – scientists from UPWr have obtained a total of nearly 4.5 million PLN for projects financed from the National Science Centre (NCN) program. Digital twin to aid in monitoring cyclones, droughts, and floods 03-01-2024

Extreme weather conditions and climate change are among the world's most significant challenges today. Creating a virtual replica of Earth's systems (a digital twin) for simulating and predicting "weather and climate" scenarios is a primary goal of the European Commission's Destination Earth initiative. Professor Witold Rohm from the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences will play a vital role in this important endeavor.
