In mid-June, the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences hosted representatives from Ukrainian universities participating in the INTERACT 2.0 project. This year's edition saw two additional universities joining the group of 10 Ukrainian institutions: the National Aviation University from Kyiv and the Ivan Puluj National Technical University from Ternopil.

Five scientists from the Wrocław University of Environmental & Life Sciences were awarded in the MINIATURA 5 competition. They each received nearly PLN 50,000 for research in the field of veterinary medicine, animal science and fishery, as well as food and nutrition technology.

The excitement of the Staff Week and Student Council has barely subsided, and a few days ago, UPWr welcomed students from the XVII High School in Wrocław as part of the "Tree BioBlitz - Tree Biodiversity Event" project. Scientists from UPWr, together with researchers from the Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy of the Polish Academy of Sciences, obtained the highest score in the competition organized by the National Centre for Research and Development. They also received funding in the amount of nearly 2.5 million PLN, 800 thousand of which will go to UPWr.
