For the first time, the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences hosted events as part of the EU GREEN consortium. UPWr leads Working Group 2, focusing on the Educational model based on Sustainable Development. The Staff Week organized in Wrocław was dedicated to education and involved individuals contributing to this working package.

Scientists from three Priority Research Areas adopted at the university – Veterinary Science, Technology and Food Sciences, and Environmental Sciences – submitted 22 project applications from October 2021 to March 2022 in international competitions for research projects under the Horizon Europe programme.

Eight beehives, housing hundreds of thousands of bees located next to a flower meadow giving the bees somewhere to feed – this is the perfect recipe for delicious honey. The UPWr is opening a second university apiary, as a result of a partnership between the university and the European Parliament Office in Wrocław.

During a visit of representatives from the United Nations University at the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław, a trilateral agreement of collaboration has been signed – particularly significant in terms of the geographical neighborhood.
