Young scientists from the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences were awarded PLN 1,936,687 in the National Science Centre Preludium 20 competition. Dr. Magdalena Rychlicka from the Department of Food Chemistry and Biocatalysis wants to obtain a preparation of ferulic acid in the form of a nanoemulsion, which could be used as a supplement in the prevention of civilisation diseases such as cancer and diabetes.
