Dr. Agnieszka Krawczyk-Łebek from the Department of Food Chemistry and Biocatalysis was awarded the Gold Medal at the 16th International Exhibition of Inventions 'IWIS 2022', while the title of Best Polish Invention was awarded to new flavonoid glycosides with potential antimicrobial activity that she managed to obtain using biotransformation.

NAWA – the National Agency for Academic Exchange, has granted funding under the STER programme for the Internationalisation of Doctoral Schools. The Doctoral School of the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences came in third place among 16 institutions, receiving over PLN 2 million in funding.

The Open Access Repository on the mostwiedzy platform, as part of an inter-university and inter-library collaboration, has provided authors from UPWr with five vouchers to use – to deposit datasets with their (their research team's) scientific data (e.g. within an NCN grant).
