Eight beehives, housing hundreds of thousands of bees located next to a flower meadow giving the bees somewhere to feed – this is the perfect recipe for delicious honey. The UPWr is opening a second university apiary, as a result of a partnership between the university and the European Parliament Office in Wrocław.

Researchers from the Institute of Geodesy and Geoinformatics at Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences are working on the DigiTwins4PEDs project, which aims to utilize a city's digital twin to model urban energy aspects. This marks a step towards carbon-neutral cities and a sustainable energy future. The project is financed by the National Centre for Research and Development.

The rectors of seven Wrocław universities have signed an agreement to set up the Erasmus+ InnHUB Innovation Centre. The main task of the centre will be to popularise and promote the universities’ offers, the European University initiative and educational mobility.
