Having just returned from an internship in Stuttgart and gaining nearly PLN 750,000 funding from the National Science Centre for his project "Simultaneous estimation of the troposphere using the Precise Point Positioning Technique", Professor Tomasz Hadaś will be cooperating on this project with Prof. Thomas Hobiger from the Institute of Navigation at the University of Stuttgart.

Professor Tomasz Hadaś has recently completed an individual research internship as part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions program, where he worked on the use of signals from GNSS satellites in meteorology. He now speaks about the lessons learned and encourages other scientists to take part in the program.

Three scientists of UPWr – Paulina Nowicka PhD, Tomasz Hadaś PhD hab. and Błażej Późniak PhD hab. – received scholarships for outstanding young scientists from the Minister of Science and Higher Education.

Two scientists from the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław have received over a million zlotys from the Preludium BIS 2 NCN program. These are Prof. Agnieszka Noszczyk-Nowak and Prof. Andrzej Białowiec, the leaders of two Leading Research Teams.

Alan Gasiński from the UPWr Doctoral School is working on malting legume seeds – the raw material obtained this way is characterized by higher protein content. His promoter Prof. Joanna Kawa-Rygielska admits that Alan got into the Doctoral School on the second try, but today he is characterized by creativity and independence.
