2020/2021 academic year – most important information

In order to keep everyone safe, the following rules must be followed:

  • Wearing masks is obligatory on all university grounds (also during classes), hands must be disinfected on entrance and - if possible social distance should be kept.
  • Measuring your temperature at the entrance is also recommended. Employees, students, doctoral students, postgraduate students or participants of other forms of education with a body temperature above 38°C are not allowed to work or take part in classes.
  • Classes can be taken only by healthy people, with no symptoms suggesting an infectious disease. Students, PhD students, postgraduate students or participants of other forms of education, as well as academic teachers and other employees who are sick, or are staying at home with a person undergoing quarantine or isolation, or themselves are under quarantine or isolation can't take part in classes also.
  • Residents of dormitories returning from abroad are also obliged to present one of these documents. They must also inform the dorm supervisor manager about their departure before leaving the dormitory.
  • In the event of the university's activities being suspended or limitated, additional restrictions will be introduced:
    • There will be an obligatory 1.5-meter distance between students in classrooms and laboratories, and if this is not possible in laboratories separate workstations with plexiglass partitions will be installed.
    • Information on the number of people allowed in each room will be provided on the front door.
  • Visitors are not allowed in student dormitories, and residents are required to wear a mask covering their mouth and nose outside of their rooms.
  • Organising conferences, events, trips and business trips require the rector’s consent.
