'Bee-therapy garden. Apitherapy and relaxation on the Biskupin campus' and 'Work & chillout zone' are the winning projects of the second edition of the UPWr Participatory Budget. The former is an employee initiative, the latter a student initiative. A total of 1285 people took part in the vote. This is 17% more than in the first edition of this initiative.

Can science help save lynx, tigers or cheetahs? Professor Wojciech Niżański from the UPWr believes so. To this end his team is creating a sperm bank: they intend to freeze the reproductive cells of animals in order to save them from extinction in the future, thanks to in vitro methods.
