Rafał Ogórek, a doctoral student at the Faculty of Environment and Technology has received a scholarship from the Polish-Slovak Scholarship Fund. In April he is going to Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra.

Due in part to the initiative of Wroclaw President Rafał Dutkiewicz, the city was able to fund a memorial plaque as a tribute to polish King Jan Kazimierz. In January, this plaque was placed in the church Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris.
