The main purpose of the visit was to learn about the University's activities in the discipline of environmental engineering and Smart Water and Zero Emission solutions. Savonia University of Applied Sciences has an innovative water laboratory (WATERLAB) offering pilot and demonstration studies in the field of water and wastewater management using modern measurement equipment. Dr. Justyna Stańczyk got acquainted with the functioning of the Kuopio Water Cluster, which connects the industrial and academic sectors in new technologies and the Geological Survey of Finland (GTK).
