In the past 2021, our Faculty was visited by high school and technical school students from the Economic and Technical School Complex in Rakowice Wielkie. Thirty-three students, together with the vice-principal Ms. Monika Citow and the physics and chemistry teacher Ms. Justyna Cieślak, got acquainted with the educational offer of our Faculty and the scientific and didactic facilities.

The classes were conducted by Assoc. Prof. Katarzyna Pawęska, PhD Eng., Magdalena Kuśnierz, PhD Eng., Kamila Hamal, M.Eng., Elżbieta Trośniak, Maciej Gruszczyński, PhD Eng., Paweł Lochyński, PhD Eng., Aleksandra Bawiec, PhD Eng. and PhD students Sylwia Charazińska, M.Eng., Daria Marczak, M.Eng., Kinga Marek, M.Eng. and Jakub Misiewicz, M.Eng.

The students learned what fields of study are offered at the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Geodesy and what the admission requirements are. They got acquainted with the structure of Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences and the Faculty itself. The employees of the Institute of Environmental Engineering tried to answer the following question in a clear and friendly way: who is and what does an environmental engineer do?

The interesting discussion about what an engineer does was complemented by practical activities. Classes conducted by the employees of the Institute of Environmental Engineering were held in two groups. The photo report can be seen below.

We would like to thank the vice-principal of the Economic and Technical School Complex for sharing the photos with us. We wish the students academic success and encourage them to study at the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Geodesy of UPWr.
