Paweł Tomczyk, M.Eng., a doctoral student from our Institute, has received over 200000 zlotys for his project entitled “Research on changes in water quality in river systems used for hydropower purposes - modeling of changes in the elements of ecological status of waters.” The project, carried out under the supervision of Prof. Mirosław Wiatkowski, PhD Eng. will be financed under the Preludium competition announced by the National Science Centre.

Paweł Wiercik PhD from the UPWr Institute of Environmental Engineering and prof. Tomasz Suchocki from the Biostatistics Unit at the Department of Genetics have obtained funding for their research from the Miniatura 4 program.

Paweł Lochyński, PhD Eng. from our Institute has received the 2021 “Scientist of the Future” award in the Science for a better life in the future category.

On 25 May 2022, the best employees of the Institute of Environmental Engineering received awards from the Rector for their scientific and teaching activities for UPWr. Patent documents were distributed as well.
