From 26.06. to 29.06.2023, first-year students of second-cycle studies in environmental engineering participated in specialized field study.

On July 3, 2023, the public defense of the doctoral dissertation of Jakub Misiewicz, M.Eng. was held. Its topic is “Effect of soil loading on the retention capacity of superabsorbents.”
On July 4, 2023, the thesis defense of Sylwia Charazińska, M.Eng. was held, entitled "Nickel removal from chromium-nickel steel processing wastewater".
On July 5, a meeting of Employees of the Institute of Environmental Engineering of the Wroclaw University of Life Sciences was held. The meeting was devoted to three issues. The first issue discussed was the EU GREEN project, the second - the possibility of financing staff trips abroad as part of the "POWER at UPWR - a comprehensive university development program" project, and the third - our participation in the Science Picnic at the Economic and Technical School Complex in Rakowice Wielkie
On May 22, 2023, students of environmental engineering, as part of revitalization of degraded and industrial areas course, participated in field classes devoted to the subject of revitalization and reclamation of the inactive landfill “Maślice” in Wrocław.
On March 22, 2023, on the occasion of World Water Day, a demonstration of pollutants spread on the Wrocław Hydrotechnical System model was held at the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences.
"See, learn and experiment" is the slogan that has motivated us for a long time in organizing classes for high school students at the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Geodesy.
Research of Dr. Magdalena Domańska from our Institute will be funded by the National Science Centre program, MINIATURA 6.
